Noakhali Protibondhi Unnyan Songstha (NPUS) is an Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) working in Noakhali district of Bangladesh. Persons with disabilities face lots of barriers and discrimination due to socially derogatory attitudes and ignorance towards them. Following their situation, a group of persons with disabilities and their few well-wishers founded the organization on January 01, 2007, to bring positive change to their development. Mr. Abu Abdullah, a person with visual impairment, is the main initiator and founder of the organization.

NPUS was registered by the government authority on January 12, 2009. After getting the registration, NPUS has started playing key roles from the local to the national level. NPUS is working in Noakhali district of Bangladesh to develop the lives of persons with disabilities and promote their rights and inclusion. The activities focus on poverty reduction, inclusive and quality education, employment, good health, and access to services and resources at government and non-government levels.

Despite being a grassroots DPO in Bangladesh, NPUS has gained expected recognition and leadership at the local and national levels and participated in different programs of government and non-government organizations.
